About Us

Moke Magnetic commenced operations as Magnetic Island Rent-a-Moke approximately 30 years ago. The current owners have had the business since 1986.

With sunshine all year round and the casual, laid-back Island lifestyle, mokes are a perfect way to see the natural beauty and local wildlife of Magnetic Island at your own pace.

The original fleet of vehicles came from Mt Isa mines where they were part of the underground work force. Since then we have accumulated mokes from elsewhere and now have 65 on the fleet. We have recently added some air-conditioned 4-wheel drives so that people can access the western side of the Island as well.

To ensure that maintenance and safety is kept at the highest level we maintain a fully licensed workshop with 4 employees. Our customer service centre houses 9 staff on bookings.
